Description: Experiment:
4-week old Col wild-type plants were infected with conidia from 10-day old E. orontii cultures. Leaves were harvested at 6, 12, 18, 24, 48, 72, 96, and 120 hours post-inoculation. Inoculations were done at different times of day so that all harvesting could be done at the same time of day, in the middle of the 12-hour light cycle. To limit effects of age, only leaves number 7 to 10 were harvested. Replicates are derived from three independent biological experiments, with no overlap in growing periods.
