Description: This experiment has been imported by PLEXdb from NCBI GEO (GSE23721)

Series_summary:
We used microarrays to analyze the effects of the disruption of mucR in planktonic S. meliloti strain Rm8530.

Series_overall_design:
S. meliloti were grown in minimal low-phosphate media to OD600 = 1.2 for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays.

PLEXdb Curator's Comment:
Custom Normalization: This data set has been normalized using probe sets only from Sinorhizobium and not from the whole chip because this experiment aims to measure the gene expression only from this bacteria.
