• PLEXdb Statistics:
  • Registered Users: > 2,340 from 77 countries
  • Volume of Data Download (Complete Data Sets): > 36,300 times. (5,055 times downloaded in 2011 and 3,900 times already in 2012.)
    This is in addition to numerous small scale data downloads using various tools, e.g., expression values for individual genes, co-expressiod genes, fold changes, annotations, etc.
  • Average Daily Visits in the last 12 months: > 2100 (1600-3000 daily vists)**
  • Steady Increase in New Registered Users: 240 joined in 2007, 250 more joined in 2008, 300 signed up in 2009 and again in 2010, and 410 in 2011. Already 250 in 2012.
  • Available Data: More than 570 data sets from approx. 13500 arrays/genechips.
    
    **Webalizer (sets a visit at 30 minutes duration). Includes visits by robots.

2012 May

• A New Landmark: Approaching 500 Public Data Sets from more than 13,000 genechips.
  As of May 2012, we have 560 data sets from 13,100 arrays. Of these 490 data sets are publicly visible, i.e., data from more than 10,300 arrays.

• PLEXdb is now up-to-date with GEO until 2011 Dec for the following platforms we support:
  Barley1 GPL1340, Citrus GPL5731, Cotton GPL8672, Grape GPL1320, Maize18k GPL4032, Medicago61k GPL4652, Poplar61k GPL4359, Rice57k GPL2025, Soybean GPL4592, Sugarcane8k GPL3844, Tomato10k GPL4741, Wheat GPL3802.

• Plant Defence Related Arabidopsis Data Sets:
  Please check out our recent Arabidopsis imports. Now PLEXdb has all the Arabidopsis 'Plant Defence Related Data Sets' released at GEO through the end of 2011.

2012 Feb

• Another landmark: Crossed 12,000 arrays / 500 Expts.
  We just crossed another landmark: Now PLEXdb houses data from more than 12000 arrays coming from more than 500 experiments/data sets; approx. 9700 arrays (450 data sets) are publicly visible.

• Nine-Fungal-Array data now available:
  Nine Fungal Array data sets (from Corby Kistler's lab) are now public at PLEXdb. Please visit the above link to explore the 3 data sets: NF1, NF3 and NF4.
